Same-day boards close at 11am — after that the next window is tomorrow, 7am.

CRAVEPLATTER Boards worth crowding around.

Corporate Catering

Standing orders, net-30 terms, and the compliance paperwork your building is going to ask for.

Draft for review. This document was prepared as part of the CravePlatter site build and has not been reviewed by counsel. Confirm the entity details, retention periods, insurance limits and governing-law clauses with your lawyer, and the food-safety claims with your local health department, before launch.

Roughly two-thirds of what leaves our kitchen goes to an office, and offices need different things from a birthday party: a certificate of insurance, an invoice that survives a procurement review, and a delivery that arrives when it said it would because thirty people have a meeting at one o’clock.

1. How a corporate account works

  • Standing orders. Pick a day, a headcount and a rough direction. We rotate the build so the same room does not eat the same board every week, and we tell you what is coming on the Friday before.
  • One invoice a month covering every delivery, itemised by date, cost centre and purchase-order reference if you use them.
  • Net-30 terms on accounts over $1,200 per order or on any standing weekly order, once we have a signed order form and a credit check.
  • A named contact in the kitchen who answers the phone, rather than a support queue.

2. What your procurement team will ask for

Document Status Lead time
W-9 On file, sent on request Same day
Certificate of insurance ($2m GL / $1m auto) Available, naming your building as additional insured 1 business day
NYC DOHMH food service permit Current Same day
NYC Food Protection Certificates All kitchen staff Same day
HACCP plan summary Available under NDA 3 business days
Vendor security questionnaire We complete standard SIG-Lite 5 business days
Sales-tax exemption (ST-119.1) Accepted from qualifying non-profits Applied to next invoice

3. What we can actually handle

Our routine ceiling is about 400 guests in a day across all orders, and roughly 300 on a single grazing table. Above that we can still do it, but we need ten business days and we will be honest with you about which parts get harder. We would rather turn down a 600-person order than deliver a bad one, and we have done exactly that.

4. Dietary requirements at scale

For recurring orders we keep a standing dietary profile for your floor — how many vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free and halal portions you need — so you are not re-typing it every week. Individual boxed portions for serious allergies carry no surcharge. See Allergens & Food Safety for what we can and cannot guarantee.

5. Starting one

Email [email protected] with your building, your usual headcount and the day you want. We will come back with a build, a price and the paperwork your building is going to ask for before it asks.
